Goals:
There was some talking of Davo planning to descend K2 on skis. As he told us, he and his friend and longtime companionFranz O. had trained and prepared themselves for this adventure. In 2009, an ice-avalanche initiated a fatal accident and his friend died on the second day after the accident in 6500m.This traumatic incidence prompted Davo to abandon this project. As father of 7 chldren he wants to lead a life with less risks and dangers. No more projects of extreme danger and risk are planned, as he does not want to push his luck.
Really worth seeing: “Davo Karnicar’s ski arcs in the high Tatras”, a great and much successful extreme skiing video project showing Davo Karnicar as central character. It is possible to watch the trailer in the “videos” section!
